Thanks, but no thanks

Had a call from the nice lady in HR.

"It's not good news, I'm afraid ..."

"Oh well ..."

"The head guy felt really uncomfortable, and really didn't want to be there ..."

"Oh really.  Why?"

"He felt you were too much of an extrovert.  He's not like that ..."

"Thanks. Sounds like it was a lucky escape for us all!"

So there it is.  Apparently I knew my stuff, looked immaculate, gave detailed answers.  All the good things.

"Don't change.  I look forward to seeing another application from you for another role."

Sweet.  I'll see what else is advertised.  I can't stay where I am - it's driving me bonkers!
